How to Use Restake

Wallet Creation

Here’s the end-to-end process of creating an account on a Starknet L2 compatible wallet and connecting it with Restake.

**We will need Braavos/Argentx, and Metamask wallet (or Ethereum wallet). For the guide we will use Braavos and Metamask.

Steps to create an account on Braavos

Download and install the Braavos chrome extension from here. You can install Metamask from here and follow this guide for Metamask installation.

After installing the extension, we will come across the welcome screen.

  1. Select Create a New Wallet

  1. Create a password

  1. Enter your new password and click login

  1. Copy your secret recovery phrase. Remember to keep it somewhere safe as it will be used if you want to access your wallet. After you save the phrase click on I saved my Secret Recovery Phrase button.

  1. Now click on Done and accept the disclaimer in next screen.

  1. Next, select the network “Starknet Sepolia” from top right corner of your wallet.

  1. Click on Add Account

Congratulations! You have successfully created the wallet.

Bridge ETH

Now let’s bridge the test Sepolia token in your Braavos wallet.

  1. First receive the test token on your Metamask wallet from here or here.

  2. Now connect your Metamask wallet here to bridge the token.

  1. Enter the amount you want to bridge to Braavos wallet and click Next.

  1. Now connect your Braavos wallet.

  1. Now you can see your Braavos wallet address. Now on Bridge.

  1. Confirm the transaction in Metamask.

  1. Now you should be able to see the ETH balance in your Braavos wallet.

Staking

  1. After successfully bridging the ETH open restake.it and connect wallet.

  2. Enter the amount of ETH you want to stake and click Stake.

  1. Sign the Transaction in your wallet and wait for the success message.

Congratulations! You have successfully staked!

  1. Now, refresh the page and you should be able to see the staked amount in dashboard.

Unstaking

Visit website restake.it and connect your wallet.

  1. Click on Unstake.

  1. Enter the amount you want to unstake and click on unstake button.

  1. Sign the transaction in your wallet and wait for the success message.

Congratulations! You have successfully unstaked your deposit.

To confirm, refresh the page and you should be able to see reduction of Staked balance in your dashboard.
